Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy for TaguchiLab iOS and iPadOS
Last updated: 2026-04-26
TaguchiLab helps users create and analyze experiments using the Taguchi Method. This app-focused policy explains how local app data is handled, how cloud sync works when enabled, and the controls available to users.
App data
Local experiments remain on your device unless you enable cloud sync. When you use TaguchiLab without cloud sync, experiments, factor names, levels, responses, computed results, and saved projects stay local to your iPad or iPhone. Local-only app data is stored by the app on your device and is not collected by Gonzo Studio.
If you choose to enable cloud sync, Cloud Firestore may store factor names, levels, responses, computed results, and saved projects for backup, restore, and sync across your devices. Firebase Authentication may process account information when required to provide sync access.
How we use data
Cloud data is used to provide backup, restore, and sync functionality that you choose to enable. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing. We do not intentionally use experiment data for analytics, profiling, or marketing. Cloud sync data is kept while needed to provide sync, until you delete it, disable sync, or request deletion, subject to provider backup and legal retention requirements.
User control
You can delete cloud data, disable sync, and export or delete local data from the app. Disabling sync stops future cloud synchronization for your experiments.
Children's privacy
TaguchiLab is not intended for children under 13.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised last-updated date.
