Export

Export a PDF report

After you finish Effect Analysis, TaguchiLab can render a PDF report you can share with a teammate, teacher, or customer. Analysis and PDF export are free. You do not need Premium or a cloud account for this.

Premium stays for cloud Design Library sync across devices.

What the report includes

The PDF is an A4 summary of the experiment you just analyzed:

  1. Design table — factors and levels
  2. Run matrix — each run’s factor settings, response, and S/N when available
  3. Main effects — ranking, level means, and small-multiple plots
  4. Recommended configuration — the optimal (or predicted) factor levels
  5. ANOVA — sum of squares, F, p, % contribution, and how the error term was obtained (replicates, residual, or pooled factors)
  6. Confidence intervals — when the error term is estimable
  7. Methodology — short notes on the Taguchi formulas used

Numbers are computed on your device. The cloud only lays out the PDF; it does not re-run the statistics.

How to export

  1. Open your experiment and enter responses for every run.
  2. Tap Analyze to open Effect Analysis (main effects, ranking, optimal setup).
  3. Optionally open ANOVA for F-tests and confidence intervals — that table is included in the PDF when available.
  4. Tap Export in the toolbar, then PDF Report.
  5. Wait a moment for the report to generate, then use the iOS share sheet (Files, Mail, AirDrop, and so on).

You can also export a CSV from the same menu if you need raw tables in a spreadsheet.

Tips

  • Switch between S/N Ratio and Response before exporting if you want the report metric to match what you are reviewing on screen.
  • For saturated designs (every array column carries a factor and there are no replicates), TaguchiLab may pool the weakest factors into the error term so F-ratios can be computed. Pooled factors are labeled in the ANOVA table.
  • The PDF cover uses brand and design meta only (array size, factor count, S/N type). It does not print your experiment title or email, so it is safer to share as a handout or screenshot.
  • Tutorial — set up the French fries example end to end
  • Taguchi basics — factors, levels, responses, and robustness
